This book is dedicated to the Tabriz group as part of the project entitled “Azerbaijani Carpets with all Their Schools.” In

addition to continuing the tradition of previous publications regarding the Karabakh and Iravan groups of Azerbaijani car-

pets, it takes into consideration all specific features of Tabriz group carpets comprehensively. The book reviews the overall

achievements in the areas of historical development and culture of southern Azerbaijan and gives general characteristics of

Tabriz group carpets. Professional photos of 89 rare carpets held in a special collection, individual presentation of specific

elements about each carpet, complex characteristics of relevant carpets in addition to the translation of their “inscriptions”

form the main part of the book. The book ends with the bibliography. The “Azerbaijani Carpets Tabriz Group” book is sup-
