This carpet took its name from the structure of its composition. The
main ornament in the middle field of this carpet with a red background
represents six full-sized and one half medallion placed in sequence. Six
truncated (twelve in total) medallions are placed in the middle field,
inside the guard stripes, and partial medallions are designed at the
two top angles. Merging the partial medallions located on the edges
generates the general form of the medallions seen in the center.
The green-background border is decorated with
red and yellow classical elements and white
trident motifs.
Narrow borders are completed with red, white, and blue elements.
The carpet was woven using handmade threads of high quality, colored
with natural dyes.
