The field of this carpet with a blackish- and oak-colored background
represents the butas located successively in a horizontal pattern. The
butas are looking to the right in the first row and to the left in the
second, making the general composition very attractive.
The butas woven in the field of this carpet, which belongs to the
complex compositional structure of Karabakh carpets, have flower
images inside them and the distance between the butas is designed in
very precise measures.
The fields with white backgrounds on this carpet are decorated
with octagonal elements. The blue-background guard stripes have the
form of waves and are completed in chains.
The color specifications of the carpet attract anyone’s attention
thanks to its professional composition. Changing occasionally the
color of the butas woven in the field, the carpet weaver created a
particular harmony of contrasting and fresh colors.
The calm and sometimes contrasting transition
of colors in the large border makes the carpet
more attractive.
The middle border is decorated with white and red wave-formed
ornaments from both sides on a blue background. The sichandishi
elements created by the alternation of white and red colors on the
edges of the border and the red line retracing the edges of the field
make the general composition magnificent.
The carpet was woven using handmade threads of high quality,
colored with natural dyes.
