The carpet was woven on the basis of Gazakh's “Kamarli” composition. The artistic structure of the carpet consists of a middle
field and border. The date 1288 AH appears on the green background in the top right corner of the middle field. This carpet
reflects artistic features specific to the carpets of western Azerbaijan.
On the green background middle field of this carpet, four whole and two partial gyols (medallions) arranged alternately are
depicted. The gyols are rhomboid and their edges are enclosed with hooks. A smaller rhombic medallion is located inside the
gyols. The medallions are depicted in light brown on navy blue, red, and white backgrounds; in green on the cornelian gyol; and
in green and white on the navy blue background gyols. Tree-like motifs directed from the four sides of the medallions towards
the corners of the gyols enrich the general composition of the carpet.
There are eight small red, navy blue, white, and green medallions with hooked edges in the empty spaces of the middle field.
Two rhombic medallions with dark red settings are depicted in the lower part. The dark red main border of the carpet is adorned
