The date 1329 AH appears in the upper section of the carpet, inside the orange middle field. “Mirahd. A.” is written between the
two dates. The carpet was woven on the basis of a Karabakh composition.
Eight red background medallions are located in the middle black background of the carpet. There are dordunsur (four elements)
in the center of the medallions. These elements are decorated in orange, light green, white, and black. The edges of the medallions
are designed with red and orange stripes. The stripes are completed with light green su (water).
The empty spaces of the carpet’s middle field are filled with buta (almond-shaped), eight-pointed stars, stylized star, dog, bird,
goat, rhombic, floral elements and others. These motifs are designed in orange, green, red, white, and black. The orange backgro-
und middle field of the carpet is decorated with triangular motifs depicted face-to-face. These elements are represented in light
green, red and pink. Black su adorns the edges of these elements. These triangular elements are divided on both sides into two
parts by a t-shaped motif.
