with four-petal flowers. The colors of these flowers are repeated on the motifs of the large border. The main border is surrounded
with green background guard stripes on the outside and blue background guard stripes on the inside. There are depictions of flo-
wers on the wavy branches, designed in convolvulus-like alignment inside the guard stripes. The empty spaces between the wavy
branches are designed with white, red, light brown, blue, sumac, and yellow arrow-like motifs. The guard stripes are surrounded
on both sides with red background madakhils designed with barely-visible cream and black z-shaped motifs on the inside. The
edges of the madakhils are completed with black su (water). Dark red and cream colors dominate the carpet. The coordinated
distribution of blue, green, and yellow on the borders remains strictly and traditionally regulated.
