The date 1331 AH appears on the middle
field of the carpet, inside the green back-
ground gubba.
In the middle field of this brick red back-
ground carpet, a large navy blue background
gyol (medallion) occurs. A large medallion
emerges in the center of the gyol. The edges
of the medallion are designed with zigzags
at the top and bottom. There are motifs with
bulged edges inside this brick red back-
ground medallion. In the center of these mo-
tifs on the white background, hooked ele-
ments are depicted. The bulges are repeated
in light blue, white, and navy blue. There are
navy blue and white elements on the right
and left of the medallion. Similar elements
are depicted in the empty spaces of the
gyol in orange, green, red, and dark brown.
Rhombic elements are illustrated in the emp-
ty spaces at the top and bottom in the center
and on the right and left of the medallion.
The top and bottom of these elements are
designed with white and green; in the cen-
ter they are depicted with navy blue and or-
ange; and finally, on the right and left white,
light brown, and orange elements appear.
The motifs with bulged edges are repeated
at the top and bottom of the navy blue back-
ground gyol and on the green background
gubbas. However, these motifs are designed
with brick red and navy blue colors. There
are hooked elements in the center of these
motifs. The hooked elements are orange. Or-
ange and navy blue squares and other orna-
ments are depicted on the bulges. The edges
of the gubbas are decorated with brick red
su (water) and with steps on the right and
left. The edges of the gyol are surrounded
with orange hooks on the inside and green
hooks on the outside.
The ornaments in the center are also de-
picted in the corners of the middle field in
navy blue, orange, green, and brown.
The wide light brown background bor-
der of the carpet is decorated with white,
green, navy blue, and brick red classic ele-
ments with stepped edges and other classic
elements. On both sides, the border is sur-
roundedwith narrow navy blue background
borders designed with rhombic elements
inside. The edges of the outside border are
surrounded with small white four-petal
flowers and madakhils designed in orange,
green, light brown, brick red, navy blue, and
light blue square elements. The inside bor-
der is completed with white and brick red
sichandishi (mouse teeth) on both sides.
