The date 1322 AH appears in the lower part of the car-
pet’s middle field in the right corner. Two large blue-
background and one smaller eight-pointed medallion
is depicted on the middle field of this dark red back-
ground carpet at the top and bottom. An element de-
signed in navy blue goshabuynuz (double-horned) mo-
tifs on the honey-colored background is placed inside
the medallion in the center. The edges of this element
are surrounded with barely-noticeable small z-shaped
elements. The empty spaces inside the medallions are
filled with octagonal stars, four-petal flowers, and evil-
eye-catching elements. Goshabuynuz, flower, and other
classic elements are depicted on the blue background
medallions. The empty spaces of the carpet’s middle
field are filled with hooked, rhombic, evil-eye-catching,
floral, comb, and other motifs. Inside the navy blue
background rhombic elements, there are four red and
honey-colored horseshoe-shaped elements. The wide
navy blue background border is designed in small
blue, red, cream, honey, light brown, and navy blue
square elements. The border is surrounded with mada-
khils designed with cream-colored and red zigzags on
both sides. The edges of the madakhils are completed
with red and honey-colored sichandishi (mouse teeth).
On the right and left of the medallions on the carpet’s
middle field and on the navy blue and cream-colored
background, there are brick-colored jutbuynuz (double-
horned) motifs, while navy blue jutbuynuz motifs ap-
pear on the white background. The traditional harmo-
nization of the rich color shades on the carpet shows
extreme professionalism.
