A very rich artistic structure comprises the central section of the carpet, including
indigo key ornaments and two large star medallions.
The upper medallion is woven in a brick color, while the bottom one is depicted
in blue. In the center of the medallion, diamond-shaped elements appear. "Dord un-
sur" (four element) diamond-shaped elements form a chain around the bottom, top,
right and left sides of the center. There are spaces between the motifs of chains filled
with hook-like motifs. The medallions are filled with four colors.
The brick background medallion is shown in a sugar-colored, red, and blue area.
The blue background medallion contains white and red birds. The upper and lo-
wer portions of the center section of the medallions contain three trees on the right
of the octagonal geometric elements.
In the center section of the upper and lower corners of the medallion, bird images
stand face-to-face. Small eight-pointed stars and geometric elements and motifs are
also depicted. The center area contains symmetric and asymmetric elements.
The dark background primary borders contain small elements.
The center section of the carpet is called the "envelope," where green and blue
repetitive motifs bring the carpet to life. The edges of the borders are red and yellow
s-shaped chain motifs.
The carpet’s rich color design uses eleven colors, with a mix of hot and cold colors
shimmering in endless patterns.
The pile and weft of the carpet are made of wool and the warp is
made of cotton. The storage condition of the carpet was excellent. The
carpet is of artistic, historic, and scientific importance..
