The composition of the carpet contains a central field and a border.
Three rhomboidal gols are depicted vertically in the light red central field. The background of the gols is ivory,
but the central elements are dark blue, light red, and light green. The rhomb is depicted on the ivory background
of the gol with a flower in its center and “balig” and plant elements on the four sides of rhomb. Two small gols
are depicted in the upper and lower sections of the central gol. The gols are surrounded by “balig” elements
throughout the central field of the carpet. The “balig” elements decorating the central field originate as a result of
the net-like order of the elements described inside the gols.
The upper and lower sections of the central field are bordered with scalloped “tagh” (arch). The background
of the “tagh” is ivory and its decorative elements are the same as those in the central field. In the left and right
sections, two half gol have been depicted. When the gols are combined, one complete vertical gol emerges in the
center of the central field.
Small “ketebe” (cartouches) and triangular decorations fill the green background major border. The “ketebe”
and triangles have been trimmed with ivory, white, yellow, and red colors. The “ketebe” in the left and right sec-
tions are arranged vertically while those in the upper and lower sections are positioned horizontally.
