The major border of the carpet is surrounded with a minor border trimmed with light green and dark red “mollabashi”
(chamomile) elements on the inside. The edges of the “mollabashi” elements finish in white “sichandishi” (mouse teeth).
The internal minor border is surrounded with madakhil trimmed with barely visible white and green baklava-like elements
internally and blue and dark red elements externally. The edges of the madakhil finish in black “su” (water) elements.
The external blue minor border of the carpet is decorated with white, yellow, light green, and dark red eight-petal flo-
wers. The external minor border is surrounded on both sides with madakhil where barely visible white and light green
baklava-shaped motifs are depicted. The edges of the madakhil finish in black “su” elements.
The carpet has a rich pattern design and numerous color tones. A most attractive color arrangement has been created as
a result of professional and traditional coordination of the numerous warm and cold colors.
The pile, warp, and weft of the carpet are cotton. The condition of the carpet is complete. The carpet is of artistic, histori-
cal, and scientific importance.
