The artistic structure of the carpet contains a central field and border. The central field is divided into oblique motifs.
The motifs are ivory and blue. There are “buta” (paisley) and trees in the motifs. The “buta” are trimmed with blue, ivory,
turquoise, and yellow colors inside red serrated motifs. The edges of the dark blue and yellow “buta” are surrounded with
scallops and the edges of the blue “buta” are surrounded with small quadrangular elements.
There are tree motifs trimmed with red, blue, light green, and dark blue colors within blue and ivory motifs. The blank
spaces in the motifs are trimmed with s-shaped, rhomboidal, hexagonal, and stepped-edge classic elements.
The edges of the blue motifs finish in dark blue and ivory broken lines.
The tree motifs trimmed in ivory are represented inside the small “buta.”
The ivory major border of the carpet has been decorated with black, red, blue, and turquoise-colored eight-pointed stars.
The stars combine the eight-pointed elements with one another. There are red stepped-edge classic elements inside the
eight-pointed elements. Small barely visible square motifs are placed in the center of the classic elements. The major border
is surrounded with minor borders trimmed with black-blue, red-black, and light green-black scallops.
The edges of the minor borders finish in red and yellow broken lines on the left and right and z-shaped elements in the
upper and lower sections.
Color harmony is represented completely in the carpet. As a result of the traditional coordination of different colors, a
most attractive color design has been created. The pile and warp of the carpet is wool and the weft is cotton. The condition
of the carpet is excellent. The carpet is of artistic, historical, and scientific importance.
